Most of the images from this shoot were taking with my vintage Hasselblad, though I’m really pleased with how this digital image turned out. I’m looking forward to getting the film back to see the results. Thanks to Sadie for helping me with my ongoing portrait project.

City Salon Staff Photos

This week I wrapped up editing photos of the City Salon staff for their new website. Above are 3 examples from the 20 final images. Many thanks to the staff for doing their part to make this a fun project with great results.
In related news, I’m very happy to announce that I now have a photo studio space located within City Salon. I’m planning on using the space for themed shoots and fashion / editorial style photos. I’ll have more news on this in the new year.
Left Hand Brewery

I stopped by the Left Hand Brewery while my wife and I were in Boulder last week. (The brewery is a few miles north in Longmont.) I’ve been a fan of Left Hand’s Milk Stout since I tried it a few months ago. Turns out their other beers are just as good, and the people working there were very friendly.

Here are two photos taken with my “new” medium format camera. Recently I’ve been using a Yashica Mat, which is a twin lens reflex. This type of camera was very popular in the 60′s. As you can see, it’s inspired me to appreciate style and design from that era. Many thanks to my beautiful wife for posing for the photo on the left. Also, a big thanks to whomever’s orange Beetle this is.
Rozzy

To my clients, I’d like to introduce you to the source of the barking you occasionally hear when we’re on the phone. Roz spends her days hanging out with me in my home office.
Yoguri

Yoguri retweeted a link to a photo from my cell phone photo blog (which was much appreciated). When I stopped by today I happened to have my DSLR and thought I’d try one more.
